IF I SHOULD HAVE A DAUGHTER

A source of my linage,
If I should have a daughter,
She should like my niece sandra,
Since birth always showering happiness,
Lively moods,always leaving me in laughter,
At her toddler age,her intelligence is teenager’s.

If I should have a daughter,
She should be like niece sandra,
Her brilliance is extra, is more like a talent,
Many memorable moments of her reciting to me,
A shahili poem all fluently without hesitation,
my favourite one “haki za watoto.”

If I should have a daughter,
She should be like niece sandra,
Healthy and growing up as robust,
Always rejoicing to Lord for the blessing,
Her brown skin color and dark hair,
Yearning to get her resemblance.

If I should have a daughter,
She should be like niece sandra,
She is a playing girl,alone or with company,
Her improvising skills are high,very superb,
She is a thinker,making sure the dots join,
All hail to the little princess,she deserve it.
